Astanga
Astanga is a rigorous, traditional form of vinyasa yoga, following a standard series of poses. It is the basis of most "power yoga" forms. Read more about Astanga here
Vinyasa
Vinyasa means "moving on the breath." An active class that uses morning energy to warm and strengthen the body.
Power Yoga is the Baptiste Power Yoga flow in a heated room. Bring a towel and water.
Yin Yoga
This quiet yoga form targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Postures are held three to five minutes or as long as ten minutes at a time. This type of practice is complementary to all vigorous physical activity, including some of the more muscular Yoga styles and helps prepare the body=mind for meditation.
Personal Practice Time
By arrangement. Open studio time available to anyone interested developing or advancing a personal practice. Yoga Now staff are present during this session. The studio is warm, but not hot. Donation only.
Private Yoga Sessions
By arrangement. Available to anyone interested in individual personal attention. Limited to two people.
Forrest and Forrest-inspired Yoga
An all-levels class that cultivates core connection and strengthening, using heat, deep breathing, vigorous sequences and long holds in pose progressions to flush, oxygenate and rejuventate. The studio is warm, but not hot.
Evening Slow Flow
Standing and floor posture series with special attention to strengthening, alignment, and individual student needs. Yoga experience is beneficial, but not necessary. This class is ideal for people of all ages looking for challenging yoga that is easy on the joints.
