Runner's Workshop II
An All-Levels Workshop with
Saturday, October 16, 1:00-4:00pm
This second in a series of Yoga for Runners workshops is open to people of all experience levels.
1.We will begin by reviewing the Sun Salutations and the fundamental standing poses.
2. Next, we will break down new poses in detail, covering balancing poses, backbends and hip openers, explaining aligment, benefits and safety points. Hands-on exercises will allow you to see the effects of adjustments and receive individual feedback.
3. We will use our new knowledge to immediately flow through a dynamic, sweaty yoga practice.
4. We will end with a short and simple yoga routine that you can use to open your body and counteract the negative effects of running. This routine alone will take your running and yoga to a new level.
Participation in the first Runner's Workshop is helpful, but not necessary.
Cost: $25 for current Yoga Now students, $30 for others.
